Theee years ago today my dad asked my mom for chapstick and she handed him lipstick. He didn’t know for about 20 mins and was so touched that I suddenly wanted so many father/daughter pictures.
Today a student on zoom says: “Oh my gosh Mrs. Cox are you feeling ok? You look really bad.” Nope, that’s just my face. How did a student accidentally offend you recently? Lol 😂 🤪😂

Can we please agree that the default attachment for students should be set to “make a copy for each student” in G Classroom. Such a pain when you forget to mark that!!!!! Ahhh and cannot be edited to make a copy after assignment is sent out! @GoogleEd ❤️

A different kind of first day, but a first day nonetheless. The smoothest part of my day was how great the procedures and scheduling went on my campus. It felt good to teach in the presence of kids again. Now, to get the mom stuff down. So happy to be on such a great team-CrMS!

It’s so discouraging to be both a parent/employee at the district. On one hand I understand the struggles and changes during COVID, on the other I am feeling let down, lost, questioning how I will navigate these changes for my own kids. Every decision presents new difficulties.
