✈️ STEM Day at Oceana is almost here! Aerial aerobatic pilot Aarron Deliu, U.S. Navy F-18 Super Hornet pilots Lt. Cmdr. Steven Nicklaus, Lt. Cmdr. Marty Wilson, and Lt. Sky Danskin were gracious enough to visit several of our schools this week to talk about aviation, STEM, and the upcoming @nas_oceana Air Show! We caught up with the pilots at @oceanlakeses and @TESSeagulls where fifth graders took on paper airplane challenges, designing planes to fly the farthest or creating their own artistic designs. On Friday, Sept. 18, approximately 5,000 VBCPS fifth graders will attend the annual STEM field trip! And there’s more for fifth graders: Through Oct. 31, VBCPS fifth graders can get FREE admission to the @AvMuseumVB with a parent’s/guardian’s paid admission. They just need to show their student’s grade level in ParentVUE at the Admissions Desk. ✈️ #WeAreVBSchools #FutureReadyStudentsAtVBCPS #STEMFunAtVBCPS #VBCPSCommunityPartnersRock
