We have loved learning about birds and becoming researchers! Learning about text features in nonfiction texts is so much fun with books!

1st graders in @Ms_Gilbert21 room are creating ✨magnificent games✨. Each group is making a game to add to their collection of indoor games! How much do you wanna bet these, student-made games, become the new favorite for indoor recess? #BET @Hamilton_Instr @Hamilton_EleIns

Great opening to this first grade lesson on discussion norms in @Ms_Gilbert21’s room! We can’t assume that students come ready to have meaningful discussions. Explicit instruction in @ELeducation! @Hamilton_LN @Hamilton_Instr @Hamilton_EleIns
I had the pleasure of presenting my literacy defense. With the rapidly growing population of multilingual students, culturally relevant teaching is critical! Filling in educational gaps and giving equal opportunities for every child. It was also great to see @ssvincent again! – at Oxford, OH
We are working hard, composing 3D shapes and following directions. I love it when we are able to get creative in our Engage NY lessons!

When your math coach takes off their teaching hat and becomes a kid again. I adored this interaction with my students! @MrsDShadrach @Hamilton_LN #BigBlueOnTheMove

Had a great time in @Ms_Gilbert21’s first grade classroom today! The energy felt great. I especially loved seeing how she folds Tier 1 work into student application with a fiction and nonfiction sort at library before kids read independently. 🎯 @Hamilton_LN @Hamilton_Instr
We learned all about apples using our Mystery Science program as we worked on our apple life cycle. We love when subjects intertwine with each other! #BigBlueOnTheMove #OneLinden

Today is a big day at @Hamilton_LN !!! Students have been working hard earning Leopard Tickets for showing their ROAR! Cannot wait to cut our ribbon today and see the joy of students earning a new book! More videos to come! #OneLinden
As educators, we tend to lose sleep over our students, their goals, data, etc. But this. This is one of the many moments that make us reflect on how much influence we have on our kids. ❤️🥹

We've been practicing a lot on how to have meaningful and effective conversations with each other. I'm so proud of how much collaboration and learning these kids are doing together! ❤️

We worked hard on our self-portraits today and continued to learn about all the diversity in our room. So far, we have learned how to say "hello" in at least 4 languages from our classmates! #diversityisbeautiful #OneLinden #BigBlueOnTheMove

I witnessed the sweetest and most innocent interaction today at recess. Thank you 5th grade for playing with our littles and serving as true role models for these up and coming leopards! 💙🐆#OneLinden
