Loved this week’s #WellnessWednesday. We looked at sentence starters for talking to a friend who’s down and then I told my students I needed to write “You Matter” on the board. They all wanted to do it themselves to be there for each other! Proud of this community! #BeWellTitans

When I was a first year high school teacher one thing a mentor teacher taught me was, in those first weeks, try to take each kid aside & have a personal conversation with them. Make it clear you’re invested in them personally. It was the best piece of teaching advice I ever got.
