Your regular reminder that for DECADES, a consistent majority of the American public have told pollsters that undocumented immigrants living here for years should have a chance to "fix their papers."
The "deport them all" crowd are the minority, and always have been.
New Marist poll of Texas finds 61% say undocumented immigrants should stay in US if meet certain requirements. Only 35% say they should leave.
A majority of noncollege white men (Trump base) says stay.

Thousands of immigrants did the hard, dirty work of clearing rubble and toxic dust and debris from Ground Zero. Many were undocumented laborers sent to work every day with no special PPE, and got cancer as a result.
Now some of those same people are living in fear of ICE.

3 year old boy separated from his 4 siblings—after ICE already deported both his parents.
All 5 kids are U.S. citizens.
"They took us from our parents," sister said
"Now taking us from our brother."
Eldest daughter—18 year old student—must now take care of remaining siblings who were not sent back to Guatemala.
They are ages 16, 14, and 11.
Their parents, Maria Leiva Perez and Abraham Domingo, were deported back in August after a traffic stop.
Video of their arrest went viral at the time.
They lived for almost 20 years in Palm Beach County, Florida.

New video has been released of ICE agents kidnapping a teenage boy in Glendale, CA.
The teen can be heard crying out for help and crying for his mother as ICE takes him away.

ICE kidnaps 18 year old kid—wearing all black clothes & no badge or ID.
"Please help me!" he cries in Spanish.
"I am begging you! Is anyone there!"
"Help me! Mom please help!"
"Mom I really need you right now!"
"He's hurting me! Why are you taking me!"
"I didn’t do anything!"
Eventually it takes 4 agents to throw him into an unmarked car—and speed away to unknown location.
This is the second case in a week of a son being taken away in front of his mother—on the exact same block.
ICE must be targeting this neighborhood in Glendale, California.
