For every minute without CPR, chances of survival decrease by 7%. From the field, to stretcher and ambulance, a good 5 to 7 minutes must've passed. Maybe more.
CPR should be started as soon as possible until definitive help arrive. This is medical negligence and incompetence.

nobody talks about the stage of grief where you can't even talk about it to anyone anymore because everyone expects you to be getting over it but it still runs through your mind everyday.
If you die today, how many will shed a tear, cry, or pour their heart out for you. If im gone today, will you?

Trauma survivors rarely say, “I need help.”
They say:
“I’ll figure it out.”
“It’s fine.”
“I’ve handled worse.”
They become their own safety net.
Because life taught them that depending on others isn’t safe.

You cannot control how you will feel when you wake up each day, but you can control your commitment to the process. You can always choose to show up, rain or shine.

passive suicidal thoughts, when someone doesn't necessarily want to end their life, but feels so emotionally or mentally exhausted that they wish they could just go to sleep and not wake up, or disappear without having to make anything happen
