I used to like him a lot but on this issue he is suspiciously wrong. It is quite possible and likely that the Bolsonaros are conspiring with a hostile, colonial power to interfere Brazil. Taking the passports is not disproportionate.

Glenn is lost. Thanks for trying to reason with him though, it makes it clearer for everyone to see he has either lost it or he's being dishonest

Someone might have something on him. At any rate he's a big disappointment, his intellect doesn't seem to be working for the public good.

Reasonable grounds to suspect he might be conspiring with a foreign government to betray national sovereignty. Just like there's plenty of good grounds to suspect you're a foreign agent working against Brazilian interests.

Go after the richest old people, that's fair and easier.

Consumers want their "cultural" and "artistic" tourism experience without concerning themselves with the real situation of the place they are supposed to be visiting. They seem to want an adult version of Disneyland.

Cheira a amargura.

Furthermore, the executive is legally stronger in Mexico than in most South American countries.

Very interesting piece of data. Much will depend on how the campaign is conducted. What seems clear is that everything is possible. I would argue that given the higher stakes at the presidential election, there will be higher turnout which can benefit Mélenchon.

This paper gives a fancy name to a problem you can already feel in your bones "The Tragedy of the Cognitive Commons." Checking AI output requires deep expertise. Deep expertise comes from doing grunt work for years. And grunt work is the first thing AI eats So we're building systems that need expert supervision while dismantling the only known process for making experts The paper calls the shared pool of human expertise the "cognitive commons." Every profession drinks from it. Nobody's refilling it. By eliminating junior roles, each company is acting totally rationally, and the collective result: a profession that can't catch AI's mistakes anymore because it never learned to do the work in the first place Who checks AI's homework in 15 years?
