A mural project is underway at our Downtown Lansing branch, and we couldn't be more excited! This talented group of kids and educators, with @Muralmatics , have laid down a "Scribble Grid." The symbols serve to guide them when they begin adding the color and design.
We asked a small group of middle school students what they wanted people, especially adults, to take away from this mural. Have y’all seen this one? Next time you’re in Downtown Lansing, check it out. It’s one block away from the Michigan State Capitol building.

Wrapped up this mural of our dear friend Santoria last week 🤩🤩🤩. Special thanks to @McShanePhoto for capturing the magic in these moments 💕
At this stage in the mural, there were lots of confused looks and comments like, “ummmm...ok. I guess it’s art?!?” 🤨🤨🤨
(Progress 1 of 2) Muralmatics was able to paint a sweet little piece tucked away in @downtownlansing of our brilliant friend Santoria. Thanks for snapping these great photos @McShanePhoto 🤩🤩🤩
