DEER ALERT! With the arrival of cooler weather, we see a large increase in deer movement and activity over the next 2-3 months. In addition to cooler weather, it is also mating season (rut) and shorter daylight length also triggers hormonal responses in deer that cause more activity. Be careful on the roads this fall! Car vs Deer accidents historically peak in late October through much of November here in Michigan.

INDYCAR is deeply saddened to learn of Gordon Johncock's passing. The 1976 series champion was known for his hard-charging, no-nonsense style that led him to two Indy 500 victories and 25 wins. "Gordy" was 90.
