12 years ago today, Andy Murray beat Tommy Robredo in the final of Valencia, saving 5 championship points on the way. 🏆 Robredo jokingly gave Murray the double 🖕🖕 at the net afterwards because this was the second time in a month Murray had defeated him by saving 5 championship points, having also done so in the final of Shenzhen just a few weeks prior. 🔥

The clocks are about to go back and there's a storm ripping through the country so I do believe now is as good a time as any to revisit the very best and brightest day in the history of British tennis... When Andy Murray won Wimbledon back in 2013. 🥹✨

Jack Draper's new nose ring feels like exactly the sort of thing coach Andy Murray will relentlessly bully him for. 😂

7 years ago today, Andy Murray won Antwerp WITH A METAL HIP, marking the final time he would lift an ATP tour level singles trophy. 😭 In amongst his major titles and Olympic golds, this is up there as one of the most important victories of his career. ❤️

15 years ago today, Andy Murray beat Rafael Nadal in the final of Tokyo, losing just FOUR POINTS (4!!!) in the entirety of the third set. 🤯 One of the most dominant sets of tennis you'll ever see. I'll never forget it. 🔥

Andy Murray is playing a tennis match this afternoon and as of right now, I don't think there's a legal way to watch it in the UK. Can only be described as a colossal fuck up...

I think it's really wholesome that ever since tweeting that he never even really liked tennis anyway after his last match, Andy Murray's coached two different tennis players, appeared on multiple podcasts to talk about tennis, and created a tennis Youtube channel. Never liked it but will ALWAYS love it. ❤️

Andy Murray says Learner Tien is one of his favourite players to watch just now due to his intelligent style of play that doesn't rely on pure power.

AN ANDY MURRAY + RAFAEL NADAL (+ WHOEVER ELSE IS GETTING INVITED?!) EXHIBITION NEXT WEEK?!? 🔥 🔥 🔥

If you dropped 2016 Andy Murray onto the ATP Tour in 2026, how do you all reckon he would do? For me, he'd win all 4 majors, a handful of Masters, and still would find time to win Scotland the World Cup. 🔥

10 years ago today, Juan Martín del Potro beat Andy Murray in a 5 set classic in front of a Glasgow crowd in the Davis Cup... I was lucky enough to be in attendance for this match and will never forget the way Del Potro deflated the entire arena with that passing shot to go up a break in the 5th. 🥲

14 years ago today, Andy Murray finally ended the United Kingdom's 76 year wait for a men's singles major winner by winning the US Open. Will always remember staying up to watch this, knowing for a fact I was witnessing a moment in sporting history. 👑

Being an Andy Murray fan a decade ago was a heavenly experience, man. I'll never forget it. 🥲 ❤️

10 years ago today, Andy Murray beat Juan Martín del Potro in the final of the Rio Olympic Games, defending his title won 4 years prior... This will forever be the absolute BEST 4 set match of all time in my opinion. Just fabulous. ❤️

I'll always love that the Montreal Masters 2009 drawsheet is consistently brought up as one of the most outrageously stacked quarterfinal lineups in tennis history knowing who eventually went on to win the whole thing... 🔥

"We know how great he is but is there something Andy's not very good at?" "Golf!" 💀

8 years ago today, Andy Murray beat Marius Copil to reach the quarterfinals of Washington in a match that ended at 3am and broke down in tears immediately afterwards. Despite fans and pundits alike thinking they were tears of relief at having won yet another epic, Murray would go on to admit in his Resurfacing documentary a year later that he'd actually been emotional because he thought his career was over due to the intense physical pain matches like this were having on his body. He would later withdraw from the tournament before the next round... I'll never forget watching this. 💔
