🎶 #StourMusic is over for another year, but it was a memorable one.
Great weather, fireworks (musical and literal), and stellar performances of early music to modern jazz.
Stay tuned as we reflect on this year's highlights...

It’s been a couple of weeks, but here we are @MusicStour, after a lovely performance of #Haydn’s Harmoniemesse conducted by Robert Hollingworth @ifagiolini, with our friends Eva Caballero, #flute, and Richard Thomas, #trumpet, & Rosie Moon double bass… 1/3
ALT A group of smiling wind players holding their early-nineteenth century instruments: a flute, pairs of oboes, clarinets, horns, and bassoons, with a trumpet and double bass
Beginning to get that festival itch? Us too! But while you wait, check out last years' concert tribute to David Munrow from @TheCityMusick : THE COUNT AND THE DUKE #earlymusic @polyphonicfilms
Buckle-up #earlymusic fans 🎶 New concert film #streaming 📺 THE COUNT AND THE DUKE from @TheCityMusick recorded live at York Early Music Festival last yr. Rare treat to hear renaissance 'big band' with amazing array of instruments 👏👏
