I don’t mind a reasonable amount of trouble.

The greatest post in the history of this hellhole site is KarlBöhmRespektor’s post on video games, and it bothers me immensely that I seem to have lost my screenshot of it.

Honestly, I support launching a few nuclear strikes at Iran - Persians (esp Persian Jews) are some of the most annoying people in existence and obliterating millions of them would not be a bad thing. In fact, the last display of advancement in Western civilization was the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Perhaps the whole thing can be jumpstarted again that way.

Remember if there is someone who truly understands what the average person thinks, it is the Indian male second-generation immigrant. Like Vivek.
As a NATIVE BORN Texan here is what I knew that apparently Bo French and the IQ posters did not: That the average Texan, and almost especially the median white Texan, is so repulsed by him that they will literally vote D for the first time in their lives to send a message

Young men are the drivers of civilization. Civilization is very dirty affair and requires a ruthlessness, intelligence and uncompromising nature on personal standards few can understand. I don’t understand why we think that any of the current generation of men would have the experience or ability to improve civilization. Have they ever suffered any material want? Do they comprehend the seminal creations of the West? Have they killed a living thing, whether animal or person? Have they ever had sex with a woman, much less raped one? Do they understand anything else other than masturbation and video games? At best, the only thing current young men can do is destroy civilization much more quickly than would otherwise occur. After all, progress is a two-way street. More likely, you will just see impotent whining and unceasing faggotry though as the facades slowly collapse.

AI reduces all who use it to preliterates. For blacks, this is their natural condition; maybe the AI black is less gibberish than the actual black, I dunno. For those with written civilizational history, I have to assume some remnants of literacy will be maintained in these dark ages like those monks in Ireland did. Written traditions can be revived unlike oral ones.

Tech bros are the dumbest intellectual leaders in the history of mankind. This says a lot about all other leaders in society.

A key factor behind the cultural and religious emptiness of everyday life is that the written tradition is slowly being destroyed into nothingness and there is no oral tradition of centuries to fall back on since it stopped being passed along more than 100 years ago.

I’m so glad daylight savings is over. Such a stupid stupid concept.

Going to a judicial foreclosure sale in Brooklyn will teach you about kinds of racism you never knew existed.

This would actually be a good subject for a Gilbert and Sullivan opera if only there was a writer with 1% of the talent of Sullivan.

Hard to believe the I, Claudius serial is 50 years old. One of the few things that ever appeared on television which has repeat viewing value. Graves’ novel is also high quality stuff (Claudius the God is less interesting - Pulman wisely took a lot less from it).
#OTC in 1976, the first episode of ‘I, Claudius’ aired on BBC. An adaptation of Robert Graves’s novel by Jack Pullman, a stellar cast made household names of the members of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. Photo: BBC.
