Why do they call this the Cat's Head nebula when clearly it looks like Abraham Lincoln's head?

Dr. Tyson, I have a question about rhe following clip. You are talking about Superman changing the earth's rotation. You said everything not bolted down would fly due east at 800 mph. The question is how? We have to consider that when Superman did this, the earth slowed its rotation. As it slowed, it was no longer spinning at 800 mph. Kind of like when you gradually slow your car to a stop. Please advise:

Counterpoint: if you could give every child in your town’s schools breakfast and lunch every day, but it required firing two district administrators, would you do it?

I know this is a controversial opinion, but I have thought this for a while.
Most people, even his fans, will say that Donald Trump has a healthy ego.
I argued before he was elected that if someone said he couldn’t do something, then he will do it just to prove people wrong.
I think that is what he did with abortion. “You say I am not pro life? I will be the most pro life President ever.”
With that in mind, probably the biggest thing he has claimed is that he does not want any more foreign wars. He has bragged about stopping them. So even if it was just based on ego… why would he just go and start a war with Iran?
Well, what else has he always said? “ I will never let Iran get a nuke.”
So… what if both those things are true? That he doesn’t want any new foreign wars but he KNEW that Iran was going to get a nuke?
The truth is that there have been a LOT of potential attacks that the intelligence services have known about and stopped that we never knew about, and never will. That is a reality.
I do not have any inside information on this, and most of the people who claim they do, dont either.
But doesn’t it make sense, even if you hate Trump and think he is a egomaniac, that he compromised one of his core views ( no new wars) because Iran was a threat and he had to deal with it?
What if he knows that he stopped something and that is why he has no regrets? That thwarting some kind of attack was more important than the election or optics?
The Carpenters version of Cole Porter's - From This Moment On is spectacular. It is fashioned after J.S. Bach's Prelude No. 2 in C minor in C minor (BWV 847) from Book I of The Well-Tempered Clavier. It's worth a listen!!!

I took a different route for the Little Golden Book we got for the grandkids. This was purchased at Target last year before both of them were even born. #TBSIHT

I am very worried about democrats who are voting republican especially in Michigan. I am praying a hedge of protection over all of them and republicans across the country especially the ones in blue states.
Leftists are violent and unhinged. They’re dangerous.
Please be aware of your surroundings at all times out there. It might be a rough few days.

If you come into my replies trying to imply that Trump wasn’t shot in the ear in Butler PA I will block you. 2 other people were shot and killed in that incident. The shooter was literally trying to kill trump.
Just stop with the foolishness. I have no tolerance for it.
It's a very reckless thing to speak without thought as speaking truth.
This beautiful & intelligent woman is the reason we know Trump r*ped a 13 year old.
Can you stop and say "Thank you, @KatiePhang"?
Tales from a deep blue state: our sheriffs have always been elected. Occasionally, like in King County, voters have chosen in our state to go from elected Sheriffs to appointed sheriffs. Now the leftists in our state hate one guy that one fall in line in Pierce County who was elected by the people.
The first thing they did, was try to make all Sheriffs across the state appointed by Olympia. That did not pass muster in court. So now Pierce County is not only trying to pass making the Sheriff position an appointed office, but allowing them to fire the currently elected Sheriff with two years left in his term this January.
So essentially, officials didn’t like the vote of the citizens and are trying to overturn it.
This is what happens in deep blue states to consolidate power. The No Kings people always say they want no Kings.
But the truth is, they only want to be the Kings.

It’s ok to admit you were wrong about something. It really is. I’ve been wrong about so many things I’ve said on here. So very wrong.
I freely admit I have been wrong about things.
Humble yourself sometimes.

Mark Ruffalo, I’m in SAG-AFTRA just like you. Our union dues are capped at the first $1 million in covered earnings. That means high earners like yourself don’t pay work dues on earnings above that amount.
Why not voluntarily contribute more to help fellow actors who are struggling to afford healthcare and make ends meet?
You’re criticizing Elon Musk over wealth, taxes and accountability. Maybe start by looking at the system you benefit from. Sound familiar?
Elon, you goofy. 🤪Crashing out, because you don’t want to pay taxes. Don’t want some oversight into all the government money and contracts you made off with. Don’t want anyone looking into exactly what the F you did with DOGE. And whining about loosing an election. 🤪That’s part of democracy, bro. Welcome to America. This isn’t some South Africa back in the day 💩. You will get use to it. Sometimes you lose. Believe me. That’s what politics is. Oh. And. Watch the Elon Musk doc. It’s wild.
