I think this cycle there will be a $SHIB type runner only this time it will be anonymous.

Not sure what sparks the @LaunchOnSF $STONK ecosystem, but until good tokens with great pairs/teams/narratives do decently well, it's not going to grow.

there's no good answer/solve for this, and it's why even well-intentioned ecosystems/people hit walls
pump doesn't have any issue with nuking/farming their winners in favor of volume, so you get an endless churn of the low MC high volume shitters that keep the casino lights on
finding a balance between the two is a hard ask. for all the shit @bonkfun got, there were good actors like @TheOnlyNom who tried to fix this somewhat. even @mst1287 occasionally.
ultimately, your own launchpad gets held hostage by groups of insider/whales that do positive things in that they don't rug and hold value for the eco, but only choose to risk investing on known plays that to the larger ecosystem are obvious or not "on trend"
Stonk is running into the same issues the larger people in its ecosystem have run into before - a concentrated amount of capital/wealth in a small number of shared tokens.
Naturally, said people want to preserve their capital so they only bid/support new launches that are "known" entities - which essentially just recycles the same pool of buyers/money.
The fear of "getting rugged" or losing (justifiably) limits actual growth of the ecosystem and you end up with a top heavy low volume standstill, and the only new volume is on inside/aligned "new" tokens which quickly price out or don't otherwise attract new capital.
