Quran & Sunnah do not divide, they unite.
All you need to do is learn the Quran & Sunnah from those whom the Quran was revealed at their time, and their students, & the students of their students.
Stay away from deviations & innovations.

To most people, concept of Takfir is only synonymous to Izala.
However, a closer look at books written under Ash'ari creed, you'd see they also spoke of Takfir and actions that constitutes it
Wasu gani suke duk abinda mutum zai aikata ba zai fitar da shi daga Musulunci ba.
Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi's "sin" was writing this book, he was so sincere that he wrote it without Arabic vowels so that only your scholars would be able to read it, heed its teachings, and correct themselves regarding the innovations exposed by your scholars within the text.
โTakfir is found even among Ash'ari scholars, read Al-Akhdari, who is Ash'ary and you will find an example. If you're unable, I'll show you.
โAd-Dahawi, who died in 321 AH, wrote in his Aqeedah text (Al-Aqeedah al-Tahawiyyah):

"And we do not view capital punishment as permissible against anyone from the Ummah of Muhammad, peace be upon him, except the one upon whom the sword [punishment] has become mandatory."
This is because of the Hadith:

โEducate yourself, please, and stop this nonsense regarding Takfir.
Scholars throughout Islamic history have declared people with particular beliefs and actions to be kuffar. However, executing such a person is solely the duty of the hakim (the state). Show us where Abubakar Gumi said otherwise, and I will accept Tariqa instantly.
We really need to exercise more humility in the way we approach Islamic education, particularly those of us who have been trained in Western or secular academic traditions. And I say this with the recognition that what we call Western education itself owes a considerable intellectual debt to earlier Islamic scholarship. But I digress.
The way Islamic scholarship establishes, evaluates, interprets, reconciles, and rejects evidence operates within an epistemological and methodological framework that is different from those of modern secular academic disciplines. Having a BSc, MSc, or PhD equips you with certain analytical skills, but it doesnโt automatically qualify you to approach Islamic texts with the same assumptions about evidence, authority, interpretation, and truth.
And I think this is where a certain intellectual arrogance creeps in. You become sufficiently competent in one intellectual tradition and begin to assume that its methods are universally transferable. You read a translation of the Qurโan, encounter an authentic hadith, and imagine that your ability to reason critically is sufficient to independently determine what the texts mean, even where generations of scholars have developed rigorous principles for precisely those questions.
This doesnโt mean Islam rejects logic or critical reasoning. Far from it. The Qurโan repeatedly calls us to reflect, reason, and examine evidence. Islamic scholarship itself has sophisticated traditions of reasoning, disagreement, and critical scrutiny. But reason operates within a methodology, and the authority assigned to different forms of evidence matters enormously.
Some analytical skills are transferable, certainly, but methodological competence in one discipline does not automatically confer expertise in another. The humility required is to recognise where our competence ends, learn the principles of the discipline before challenging its conclusions, and understand that unfamiliarity with a scholarly method is not evidence of its intellectual inadequacy.
You can be exceptionally educated in one field and still be a complete beginner in another. Thereโs absolutely no shame in that. The arrogance begins when we refuse to recognise the distinction.
Theyโll believe a narration said to be documented several thousands of years ago, bc it is written in history books they read in schools or a libry.
But the Hadiths compilation is erroneous and contradictory.
Hypocrites!
Islam is not how you define it, itโs how Allah ๏ทป defined it.
And you can only know about that definition through the Qurโan & authentic Sunnah.
A lot of muslims think the term โAqeedahโ is just a matter of extremism.
- Like itโs not important, it shouldnโt be a labeler.
Wallahi this is extremely important, a wrong Aqeedah can take you outside the fold of islam, even if you call yourself a muslim.
There is still a significant knowledge gap about Aqeedah in the hearts & minds of a lot of muslims today.
Dear Muslims,
Allah ๏ทป has forbidden you to
1. Be undutiful to your mothers
2. Withhold (what you should give)
3. Demand (what you do not deserve)
4. Bury your daughters alive

Dear @jibwis_Nigerian,
I don't know which section, but there is a dangerous video circulating of one of your Agaji members leading a morale song, making inciteful statements that I believe has no place in Islam. This is condemnable & should not be allowed to go unpunished. It goes against every term of peaceful co-existence in a country like ours. And there is no where this is taught in Islam.

As a muslim who believes on the day of Qiyamah & hisab, leadership is something thatโs scary today.
Imagine thousands killed bc of your inefficiency, the least you could do is to resign the moment you realized you canโt do the job.
Tinubu, NSA & co, Qiyamah will come.

Dear Muslims,
If you intend to wipe over your socks, make sure you performed ablution before you put them on.
โSmall sacrificeโ

- lost of homes
- lost of farms
- lost of livestocks
- lost of several investments & many more
Had it been this โsmall sacrificeโ is shared equally, however, the politicians are getting richer while the common Nigerian is the collateral damage.
