Great news on the Dome staying a normal theatre. But @DrafthouseLA people loved the Arclight because it was a movie theater with no distractions adding waiters, ipads and people eating chicken dinners next to you will destroy what we love about it. Don't do it.

Sadly, Dave Trottier passed in March. Just learned today, 4 months later. Hadn't seen anyone post about it. 😔
If you recognize the name, it’s because Trottier was such a huge name in the screenwriting universe. For decades. His Screenwriter’s Bible lived on many shelves, in all its 90s cover art glory.
Can’t quantify how many writers first got the urge to try screenwriting because of Trottier. RIP 🙏
