What is $MYST?
The incentive to share your data.
The incentive to improve the network.
The incentive to validate the network.
The incentive for users and businesses to grow it.
Businesses stay and build the network.
Users own their data and share in the value.
Human data infrastructure. Built for humans.
That's MyStandard.

This week’s business spotlight goes to @Moats_app.
They’ve been in Tippikl’s corner, and that support deserves some recognition.
Thank you, Moats, for backing what we’re building and being part of the journey.
It's wild building a human centric company in the Ai era. Perhaps it's a contrarian point of view but the human, for the foreseeable future, will be still be incredibly important.
We need control, opportunity and money. If AI is to be fully trusted it will need our insight.

Here's our theory:
Releasing infrastructure and hoping people build on it isn't enough.
We've taken a different approach: build the product first, then release the infrastructure.
Start with specific people. Solve meaningful problems for them. Expand to more people, across more use cases. Build the network through real-world utility.
Then open the infrastructure so others can build on top of it, too.
Don't ask people to build the future before you've shown them why they need it. Build something they use. Then give them the infrastructure to build more.
That's how we think a human data network gets built.

ill say it again: the biggest opportunity for crypto is not the 10% that already own and know everything about crypto
its the 90% that are skeptical or anti or dont know about it
and the way there is through spiritually positive products that make the world a better place
Year one of doing Taxes with Chatgpt. Overall, kudos to @OpenAI here.
Thoughts: Overall impressed with how chat can look between wallets, track transactions, look up pricing data, build workbooks and help me create defensible arguments around every field on the tax form. If I get audited, pulling entire reports will be one click.
It did take a long time. Lots of refining and I assume I spent about the same amount of time with Chatgpt as I would have with an accountant. I had to keep the chat moving often just typing, "Next step please..." (yes, I'm polite to AI as well).
This is the earliest of stages with this stuff. I imagine if I give chatgpt more access, update it on my wallets etc... It'll basically handle taxes for me... Including filing and paying without much effort on my end.
It's still crime though. We went to war over taxing Tea. How has it come to this. 😔😑
Generally stay away from devs who talk about price or price predictions.
Replying to @SPCX100T @RonBaronAnalyst
Unless there is a major world war, SpaceX probably gets to >$100T in <10 years
Is there a really good DAO out there? One that truly has decent decentralization, strong communications and consistent voting with follow through afterwards?
Even one?
I follow @KleosOperator and you should too.
I'll never forget DeFi Summer.

What a time.
We had some wild experiments that proved value and paved the way for some of the stable systems we have today.
I started to see this space for what it could be... disruptive, entrepreneurial, and capable of fundamentally changing how we think about trust and ownership.
I wanted to be a part of that.
I had small to mid-sized groups of friends who shared that vision. Most have either left the space or invested in MyStandard and stuck around.
It's very different today.
It's faster, but in a reckless way. Too many people aren't trying to change the course of humanity. They're trying to make money quickly and extract it from the market.
People only believe in something when the number goes up, missing the chess match being played underneath. The infrastructure being built, the problems being solved, the foundations being laid.
I still believe fundamentals will win, even if the timeline is longer than people want. When these systems reach scale, the financial upside and real-world impact could be enormous.
Crypto was meant to change the world...so that's what we're going to do.
Counter point, it's just a ponzi and will last 3 months then die. Many will lose a lot of money and industry will be seen as a joke (again).
How about we try and change the world with our collective intelligence and truly 10,000x this industry?
As upset I may be that pump.fun began a horrible trend of memes and rugs.
I'm way more upset at 10/10 and how we're just trying to move on...without anyone taking the blame.
That was a ridiculous event. It had crime, who's paying for it?
Every launch pad that claims to onboard non web3 natives is lying.
Adoption isn't happening through memes, rugs, daily runners etc...
Adoption will happen when the tech improves people's lives. Full stop.

I've talked to almost every crypto VC out there. We got a few with us, thank you @AvaLabs, @GaingelsVC and @winklevosscap, @GDAgroupHQ 🙏!
The rest? MyStandard is a disruptive, logical business but it's "too early" for us and they want to see more traction.
That's a respectable position but we're going to instantly go from too early to too late in their eyes. Crypto moves fast and there's a lot of noise that'll stop them from noticing our growth. No one has tried this before do there's no comp.
If you understand our team, tech, mission, partners and vision it'll build your conviction to the point where you're not early or late - just in time.
Imagine being a crypto VC in Q2 2027 and having to explain to your LPs that you didn’t outperform the market.
You missed Hyperliquid & Lighter, and also didn’t get into Variational.
Then, you missed ZEC & NEAR because there’s no rounds to ape in and “they pumped too much already”
Throw in Pump fun because “revenue isn’t durable” and Pearl and Quantus because they “don’t make sense” or are “too early”
Maybe add Grass, Venice, Zama, Ethena and Aave in there too.
Yikes…it’s a liquid market era nowadays.
These are your next marginal buyers.
If someone is interested in doing a business deal with you and they won't turn their camera on...
Just say no and walk away. Yes, we're online but business isn't done anon -- only scams are.
I'm not saying a scammer can't have a camera on but this is an easy red flag to spot.
I can attest some of this is truth.
But.
I know you can't rush great art.
Creating human data infrastructure isn't a one, two or 5 year thing. It'll take as long as it takes and it'll become the standard because it's better for people, companies and governments.
I'm a dev in web3 and I kinda... Love it.
you wanna know why crypto is just speculation and gambling now?
put yourself in the shoes of an actual dev who showed up to the space relatively early, say 2018-2020.
consider what it feels like to be someone with an elite background putting in 60-100h weeks every week, while watching people who trade full-time out earn you on a weekly basis
consider watching the other builders who take the predatory deals from VCs get rich by dumping on their community and then retiring with no consequences
consider how it feels to have your treasury get destroyed by FTX or Anchor and to be left with nothing while half the people involved just walk away
how many would still be left? 10%, 20%?
then go through the pumpfun era. watch people who launch bundled scams calling themselves "devs" and once again, out-earning you
march through multiple bear markets, do it all without rugging, and watch the protocols who fuck people over win over and over and over again
deal with the fact that everyone outside of tech assumes you are the same sort of person as the people who retired off rugs, think about how it feels to be labelled a "crypto scammer" by default if you talk about your job as one of the only people trying to actually build things
then, after all that, consider that a new, uber-fast moving industry full of new frontier tech shows up next door and sucks up all the VC funding
would you still be in "Web3"? would you still be committed To The Vision?
no, you would not. you'd either rug, or move on. and that's what everybody did.

Had a really nice visit with @MyStandard_Adam today. Met in person for the first time.
We talked about @MyStandardDotIO
We talked about @LabNinety1
And a bunch of other stuff.
Great guy. True visionary. And a visionary with a plan.
I'm not piling on with Abstract shutting down. They made a business decision and that's that....
But the goal for Abstract was to be the consumer blockchain where consumed crypto lived.
So why did it fail?
A complete lack of truly impactful consumer apps. This industry wholeheartedly lacks imagination. Consumer crypto has only a few use cases not related to gambling.
This is why we didn't build a blockchain or protocol first with MyStandard. We built the app, the use case and will prove it works. After we prove it works we'll scale it. After we scale it we'll launch the L1 on Avax and let other people build on the protocol.
Everyone starts with the final step and has failed. We're doing the opposite.
