Women will blame gender, caste, religion, community, height, weight, movies, the sun, the moon, the earth, BJP, Congress, science, physics, mathematics, everything for a crime except simply blaming the criminal for his crime, examining his criminal mentality, understanding why he committed it, or questioning society about why crimes are rising, be it murder or rape. They will find every possible angle except the crime itself and the criminal’s accountability.
A crime is committed by an individual, not by an entire category of people. Hold the perpetrator accountable, investigate the motive, and address the actual causes instead of turning every tragedy into an opportunity to push a convenient narrative.
