. @Etsy Etsy has betrayed artists and crafters. This is disgusting. I'm looking for other places to sell before they start selling my work to ai thieves in December. linkedin.com/pulse/etsy-now-…

Asmoncockroach talking about filling dbd lobbies and they’re gonna get pissed when they get a trans wesker who 4k5 them

All of this!!! 👏👏👏 actions speak louder than words. Don't just say you are "upset" and let companies get away with this. Effecting their wallet is the ONLY way for them to care at this point. If you are in the communities or an ally - do the work! 💜💜💜
my final thoughts on the Dead By Daylight and 🔥🥜 situation. I do really hope @DeadbyDaylight @DbDPulse can make this right because I love the game and it's community but the attack on me across all my socials because of who they chose to endorse has been.. eye opening.

I’m so proud of every creator for speaking up. Our voices matter so much and no amount of hate/slurs is going to take that away. I’m so incredibly disappointed and heartbroken right now. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this. I will be waiting for actions to be taken and better words to be spoken before I think about touching DBD right now. I never thought I’d see the day that the most LGBTQIA community friendly game would allow this to happen. Behavior pls do better.

That boiled peanut or whatever must be doing some amazing work over there, if these are his defenders

Just as a reminder: if you’re upset about the DBD situation, the current political climate is indeed a huge factor in why there is so much hate and vitriol aimed at ppl right now. Divisiveness is what keeps the oligarch’s strong. If you’re in the USA — Use your voice and VOTE. 🗳️

yeah @Behaviour @DeadbyDaylight about the community "harassing" your dev. what are you gonna do when your community gets harassed by neo-nazis? at this point, keep your fucking PR apology and whatever you plan on doing.
Please support those that are taking a break from DBD after the mess that was this weekend. A lot of creators rely on this income, and will see a serious decrease in revenue/views after this. And if you see someone playing or streaming the game, it's not that they don't care about what's happened, it's that everyone has bills to pay and this content pays those bills, and/or not everyone sees what happens here in the twitter world.
@That1GuyD_ and I will be taking a break from the game, and exploring variety until BHVR can issue a formal apology to those affected and hurt by the decisions of one individual, with exception to the Sandbagging event being held for Lynxi this coming weekend, should it stay on schedule.
We stand in support of our POC and 2SLGBTQIA friends and family in this space, and always will. Slurs and homophobia will NEVER be welcome in our space. Bring on whatever heat you've got for me. And if any one of our mutuals needs a safe space, my DM's are open <3

🧵: To my streamer friends/mutuals this is something I want to say regarding what's happening and it's that we can't always put all of our eggs into one basket. I'm not judging anyone for continuing to stream dbd as a financial means to stay afloat but always be mindful that

His fans are also posting gore in everyone’s comments criticizing him. Be careful and don’t look at any videos or hidden replies on your tweets or other peoples tweets talking about this

No matter if the burnt peanut is a bigot or not, no matter if this was a justified business move or not, no matter what this means for BHVRs ideologies
The fact that me and many many others in the community are getting harassed shows that his fans are bad for majority of players
He's clearly seen the response from the DBD Community which means he has likely also seen the response from his community. He has chosen to not speak out against those actively being hateful and vile to those sharing disappointment in what has taken place in their game space. 😔
TheBurntPeanut addresses the Dead by Daylight situation
"I already get cancelled on Twitter rn cause Dead by Daylight..did you just get skins for free? That makes you a racist!..there's one guy that submitted a refund, and in the refund reason box, they go TheBurntPeanut collaboration and the response of the game's communication team, I do not support racist transphobes..I don't think I've ever said anything about transgender people"
"They go for like 3 things that would make a lot of people mad and then say you do all of them, it's the meta"

The backbone of Dead by Daylight is built on progressive and inclusive people. To then turn around and collaborate with someone who fosters a very hateful space is a slap in the face. You are the company you keep.
This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.
