Thrilled to feature in the latest episode of #ITVTonight which explores how to save on the cost of #Christmas. You can see me in action by following the link itv.com/watch/tonight/1a2803.
My top tips are: Make use of loyalty cards; portion control and get guests to contribute also.
It was good to be on #BBC Breakfast this morning to discuss the latest #inflation reading. The sharp fall to 4.6% is a psychological milestone.
But while the light at the end of the #CostOfLiving tunnel shines brighter, challenges remain.
Good to be back on GB News earlier to discuss long term (10 plus years) fixed rate #mortgage deals. The fact that only 1% of existing mortgages are fixed beyond five years is telling. Also, good opportunity to debut my new spectacles 🤓
Thrilled to have won the Rising Star of the Year gong at FT Adviser Diversity in Finance Awards, recognising the work I do within @ii_couk and in my role as a financial analyst to champion #DiversityandInclusion. I’m grateful to be supported by a wonderful team. Thanks guys!
Good to be on GB News this morning to discuss the recent increases in #mortgage rates. I overheard someone dismissing the plight of mortgage seekers as rates pushed 16% in the 80s, failing to consider that cost of the av home is 10x av wage compared to 4x back then. Significant.
Well that was an interesting #Budget2023. It was good to take part in a live BBC Q&A session following the Chancellor’s speech and discuss what the key measures mean for personal finances on various regional BBC radio stations. I’m off to eat lunch now (I wish I was joking!)
I’m back on the BBC, taking part in a live Q&A session to answer questions relating to personal finances. I’ve already received some interesting qs on energy bills, mortgages and savings. You can have a look at my responses here if you’re interested: bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-63284…
I’m taking part in a live text Q&A on the BBC website on what Britain’s turbulent financial situation means for #personalfinances. Please feel free to submit a q - or just have a look at my answers bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-polit…
