Today we are announcing that S&P Global has entered an agreement to acquire OpenZeppelin.
Onchain finance is growing from an emerging market into core financial infrastructure, and the standards and rails our team and community built are becoming the rails of global finance. OpenZeppelin smart contracts facilitated over $37 trillion in value transferred, with the vast majority of the largest DeFi protocols, blockchain networks, stablecoins and tokenized funds relying on them.
With S&P Global, we expect to accelerate the impact of onchain finance, backed by more than a century of trust in global markets, benchmarks, and risk frameworks.
To our clients and to all the users of OpenZeppelin open source tools:
• OpenZeppelin Contracts and all our open source applications and tools remain open source, free, and publicly maintained on GitHub. Building open source standards stays a core priority.
• Audits, engineering work, and ecosystem programs continue with the same team, brand, quality, and customer experience, with what will be the added benefit of S&P Global's research capacity, market data, and institutional reach.
For the last decade, OpenZeppelin has set the security standard for onchain finance. Today begins a new chapter for that mission, together with one of the most trusted names in global markets.

1/ August at CatScope.
A low-latency data store inside the validator:
1 billion accounts covered
< 3 hours to index and sync with the network
200–300ms average block processing
< 20ms from validator receive to WASM bot read

Latency products on Solana keep converging on one place. This isn't a coincidence, and it isn't the network, it's the validator.
We mapped the whole landscape — what's new and fast on Solana, and what Alpenglow and SIMD-0525 change about it:

🥳Announcing the CatScope Rewards Program🎉
Earns points by using CatScope - points determine your share of the future Token airdrop at TGE.
How it works:
→ Traders earn points for every dollar of volume executed through CatScope
→ Validators earn points for every dollar of volume their nodes host
→ Each season has a fixed points pool, split pro-rata by usage. Eearly users win more.
No quests. No signup grants. No social tasks. Usage will be the only way to earn.
Full mechanics: catscope.io/docs/rewards
Season 1 starts at launch. Get in position now:
Traders → catscope.io/traders
Validators → catscope.io/validators

Every Solana data feed ends the same way: a wire between you and the validator.
We removed the wire.
First mainnet test: full trade loop — see, decide, execute — in ~267ms. State change to bot in 36ms.
Even on your own validator, your bot reads Geyser over a socket and parses what it gets. Ours reads a live, decoded state graph in shared memory — same box, zero plumbing.
Trade faster. Earn more. CatScope is live in closed beta.

Solana MEV is gated by closed infrastructure and a handful of privileged relationships - We're building the open alternative.
CatScope beta is now live.
Here is how it works🧵

We are actively turning down Whitelabel sales ⚠️
Why? Because we aren’t optimizing for sheer volume. We are optimizing for reputation, scale, and long-term dominance.
