Among the extensive history file for the S8, I have the original order form & invoice for the car which was delivered in Sept ‘98
At this time ‘parallel imports’ from the EU were commonplace as cars were cheaper to buy there in UK spec.
Mine came from Germany and was delivered to a hotelier in Maidenhead who owned the car for over 20 years.
He ordered the car with option 2Z0 (Model Designation Delete)
The S8 is a sleeper with very few obvious external giveaways to what it is. The badging is so subtle I want it on the car, so I’ve sourced some originals and will fit them once respray is complete.
