Gender & Sexuality =BINARY❌ Thinking about gender and sexuality as a spectrum can be used as a tool to identify the different aspects of human gender and sexuality. People’s identities can be fluid. During this #PrideMonth, we celebrate ANY and ALL genders and sexualities!

How much did overdose deaths *actually* increase during the pandemic? The CDC releases rolling 12-month data. But we want to know the true month-to-month death toll. Today in @AMJPublicHealth, @samirakre and I reverse engineered the CDC stats. bit.ly/3dnbt9P

District attorney elections are disgusting. The fact that DAs and judges are elected officials speaks volumes about how “justice” should be served. Could you imagine if people were put in these jobs based on skill and knowledge?

The #warondrugs is a war on people. American drug policy is the mortar in the foundation of a country that was build on the back of racist and classist policies. We demand Congress allocate more funding towards harm reduction initiatives! #allofusornone

Require background checks for people running programs - no felony pleas or convictions of any kind or misdemeanor pleas/convictions for drug offenses In short, if this bill were passed as written it would probably end all syringe exchange programs in the state.

This is more War on Drug policy that is intended to harm and not help. Shutting down mobile exchange would only benefit those who are privileged enough to afford a vehicle. Those individuals who need our services the most will no longer have access. ncleg.gov/Legislation/Bills/…
