Our Executive Secretary, @Turya_osborn, today delivered remarks at the National Youth Symposium, held alongside the launch of the Youth Legislative Agenda 2026–2031.
The five-year agenda provides a framework for Parliament to respond to the needs and aspirations of Uganda’s young people through lawmaking, oversight, budgeting and effective representation.
The symposium also celebrated Youth Leadership Academy graduates. Mr. Turyasingura commended the Academy for equipping young people with democratic knowledge, leadership skills, and an understanding of civic processes that enable them to participate meaningfully in shaping Uganda’s future.
He emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for young people to engage constructively in leadership, governance and national development.
