The meeting was attended by Secretary, NCSC, Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan along with other senior officers of the Commission. Representing AIIMS Delhi, Director Dr. Nikhil Tandon, along with other senior officials of the AIIMS Delhi, participated in the review.
A delegation of JNU ABVP today met NCSC Hon'ble Chairman Shri Kishor Makwana in New Delhi over reported discrepancies in SC reservation in JNU PhD admissions 2026-27.

भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान कानपुर (IIT कानपुर) के भ्रमण के दौरान राष्ट्रीय अनुसूचित जाति आयोग के माननीय अध्यक्ष श्री किशोर मकवाना ने संस्थान के निदेशक प्रोफेसर मणीन्द्र अग्रवाल और उप-निदेशक प्रोफेसर ब्रज भूषण से मुलाकात की।
इस अवसर पर IIT कानपुर में आरक्षण नीति के उचित क्रियान्वयन, विभिन्न पदों पर कर्मचारियों की भर्ती एवं पदोन्नति, एससी (SC) वर्ग के कर्मचारियों की समस्याओं के समाधान तथा छात्रों से जुड़े विभिन्न मुद्दों पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई।

The Full Commission Meeting of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) was held today under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chairman Shri Kishor Makwana.
The Commission also emphasised strengthening the monitoring of the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and flagship programmes aimed at the welfare and socio-economic empowerment of Scheduled Castes.
