We all saw the videos from the Netherlands where the police were beating Nigerian wedding guests, and it was disturbing to watch.
What happened in Cardiff, Wales last night is totally unacceptable.
Throwing bottles at people on stage at the @AYCOMEDIAN show is wrong and completely unacceptable. If people are unhappy with the show, they should demand a refund through the proper channels rather than resorting to violence or destroying property.
Disappointment is understandable, but violence is never the solution.
In some countries, the consequences could have been far worse.
We can express our frustrations without putting lives at risk or damaging property.

TRUSTING YOUR GOD GIVEN PURPOSE & JOURNEYβ€οΈ
Last week, I was deeply grateful and genuinely taken aback by the extent of the welcome at the London Stock Exchange. To see my face displayed so prominently across such a prestigious institution, as a Black African Nigerian woman, was truly humbling.
After years of hard work and many milestones, itβs beautiful to see the impact of the EbonyLife journey continue to grow.

A heartfelt thank you to all our partners and sponsors for supporting the NNCAUK 2026 Annual Conference.
Your contributions helped make the conference a success, and we deeply appreciate your commitment to advancing nursing and midwifery.
Thank you for being part of our journey.
LET US COME TOGETHER FOR THE LATE OBANYELI JESSE CHIMA.
26-year-old Obanyeli Jesse Chima was an international student from Nigeria who had just finished his master's degree in Public Health in London.
He was waiting in a lounge to meet friends for a joint birthday celebration when he said he needed to step outside for some air. His breathing quickly deteriorated.
Despite using three different inhalers he had with him, nothing helped. His friend called an ambulance, but while she was still on the phone with the operator, he collapsed.
His friends started CPR right there on the street, guided by the emergency operator.
Paramedics spent about two hours working to stabilise him before rushing him to hospital.
He was placed on life support. At first, medics hoped he would only suffer memory loss.
But two days later, doctors confirmed there had been no improvement and tests showed he was brain-dead.
Jesse was just 26. He leaves behind three siblings in Nigeria.
He was known as a passionate Chelsea FC fan who had even worked at the club.
His friend Eva said his family had been saving money to fly over for his graduation.
"His family had saved money for his graduation, and now that money needs to be used to bury their child," she said.
Friends are now raising money to transport his body back to Nigeria so his family can lay him to rest.

From today, Oxford Street will become pedestrian-only! πΆββοΈποΈ
Itβs going to feel strange not seeing buses running along the street, but I think itβs a positive change.
It will make Oxford Street more enjoyable, giving people more space to walk around, shop comfortably, and soak up the atmosphere without the usual traffic.
A new chapter for one of Londonβs busiest shopping streets! π

Yesterday, we announced that our Let's Talk About It support line would be available Wednesdays and Fridays, 11amβ1pm. We haven't even reached Wednesday, and the response from people needing help has been overwhelming.
Mums unable to feed their children. Dads unable to afford travel to work.
Some have No Recourse to Public Funds. Others face waiting times that urgent needs simply cannot accommodate.
We're working with relevant organisations to get people help, but you can help too
If you can, please donate. Every contribution helps us respond when waiting is not an option.
