We're proud to have successfully completed a rail freight campaign supporting a major project in Cumbria.
Ahead of schedule, we've helped remove 17,000+ HGV journeys from local roads and save an estimated 700+ tonnes of CO₂.

We welcome this clear direction which sets out a vision for a regulatory environment which applies a proportionate, risk based approach & can support timely, cost effective decommissioning while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security and environmental protection.
For years our nuclear regulatory system hasn't worked.
Today that changes with our plan to implement the recommendations of the @JohnFingleton1 review.
47 reforms. One lead regulator. A faster path to new nuclear projects & clean, secure power.
Patrick Vallance explains 🎥
Our CEO David Peattie met with counterparts from the United States @EMcleanup and Canada’s @AECL_EACL at the @WMSymposia to discuss shared areas of focus including accelerating mission delivery, reducing costs, application of new tech and preparing our sites for their next use.
DOE-EM, @NDAgovuk & @AECL_EACL held a Trilateral Meeting at @WMSymposia to advance our 2020 agreement.
Focus: Accelerating cleanup, reducing risks & costs w/innovative tech and managing waste for new nuclear energy.
We're enhancing global nuclear cleanup through shared expertise.
We've published our latest strategy, our long‑term roadmap for the safe and secure decommissioning of the UK’s legacy nuclear sites - read it here ow.ly/vqai50YkXN2
