How the Blazers can beat the Lakers tonight:
• Make Luka defend. Use his man as the screener and force him to deal with Dame’s range and Ja’s downhill pressure.
• Keep Toumani/Jrue on Luka as much as possible. Be ready to exchange assignments before screens so LA can’t easily hunt our guards.
• Get Deni attacking a rotating defense. When Dame or Ja draws help, get him the ball with room to drive, finish or find the next pass.
• Finish stops with rebounds. If Clingan steps up to contest, everyone else has to help clean the glass. Then RUN.
• Keep the offense moving. If the first action doesn’t create an advantage, flow straight into the next. Too much talent to settle for watching someone dribble.
Biggest key: make LA defend multiple actions every possession. Dame, Ja and Deni should be building off each other.

🇺🇸 NBA legend Paul Pierce says he's financially DROWNING despite earning roughly $200 MILLION during his playing career.
Pierce says his $119,000-a-month Fox Sports income has fallen to zero, while he made about $23,000 last month from other business interests.
He says he's paying roughly $48,000 a month in child and spousal support, on top of another $48,000 in monthly bills, including $5,000 for groceries, $7,000 eating out and $3,500 for entertainment.
Pierce claims he currently has about $300,000 in the bank and $3 million in property.
His attorney told the court the former NBA star is *drowning financially” and struggling to meet his obligations.

The movie hasn't even opened yet, and its fictional universe is already becoming a place other creators can play.
Studios used to hope that happened AFTER they had a hit.
