This Friday, we're giving a special shout-out to Maureen, a staff nurse at @NHSHHP who has retired after 58 years in the NHS!
Maureen enrolled as a nurse in 1966 & dedicated almost 6 decades to caring for others.

Interesting to hear from @KarlEmmsBCH about learnings and pitfalls of embedding paediatric parental concern to Martha’s Rule. Fascinating to see the journey - it’s system optimisation, not system implementation. Psychological safety for staff is also key. #HSJpatientsafety
So we did not win the award but what I saw was a QI and Nursing team who are absolutely passionate about improving the quality of care for our patients and who are more determined than ever to scale up our QI approach and to be back next year for 💪💙 #HSJpatientsafety
