AI at the intersection of blockchain isn't theoretical. It's about security, responsibility and delivering real value.
Shane from Pytilia made that point at our NI-Blockchain Summit, and came back for year 2 to do it.
These are the conversations NI needs to be having.
Yesterday we kicked off the Smart Sustainability Hub
Our first roundtable bringing together industry, academia & ecosystem partners to work on real deployment challenges across ESG, traceability, supply chains & compliance.
Not concepts. Not pilots. Deployable solutions.

a year ago, @superteamIE didn't exist. idea-stage.
12 months later: builders supported across Dublin & Belfast. hackathon wins. university partnerships. real capital raised by members. real jobs created.
@NI_Blockchain: same pattern. first initiative, to a 100+ person summit. academic-industry bridge that didn't exist before.
the common thread: consistent rooms. not content calendars.
ecosystems aren't built on the timeline. they're built in person, then amplified online

Ireland's blockchain ecosystem is a case study in what happens when you build rooms before you build reach
@NI_Blockchain from first event to 100+ person summit within a year. no ad spend.
@superteamIE dozens of founders supported, real capital raised, hackathons won. 12 months.
the room was the infrastructure. the ecosystem grew on top

the @NI_Blockchain summit came 1 year after its first event.
out of a small room & academics in belfast.
a summit came together. 100+ attendees. 20+ speakers. no ad spend. no influencer partnerships.
nobody built a growth strategy. they built a room. the room built the ecosystem.
most founders are still optimising for impressions when the real flywheel is showing up
Net Zero isn't a compliance exercise. It's a competitive advantage.
Ben from carbonfit made that case at our NI-Blockchain Summit.
Blockchain and sustainability need to be in the same conversation more often.
Quantum computing isn't a future problem. It's a design problem for blockchain right now.
Teik Guan & the #pQCee team brought that message to our NI-Blockchain Summit.
The conversations are still going
Stuart from @campfireinvest nailed it at the NI-Blockchain Summit:
the industry needs more events like this.
100+ people in the room. Sharp conversations at the intersection of blockchain, AI and sustainability.
Real momentum building - and it's just the beginning.
