When #Assange gave his first public speech after being jailed for 5 years for journalism, EVERY SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY in the western world (maybe the whole world) should have stopped what they were doing and tuned in!
Assange is the most consequential journalist of our time and he was jailed for journalism that won awards and woke up the world to the reality of modern wars for profit.
Assange's “crime" was practicing an investigative journalism that was too accurate, too thorough, too expository, too consequential.
The whole world must know the story of what they did to Julian and WHY!
