Dutch Minister of Defence @DilanYesilgoz (@DefensieMin), visited European defence giant #Leonardo for a discussion on the evolving security landscape.
The meeting focused on international cooperation, and strategic partnerships in strengthening European and NATO capabilities.
We were pleased to welcome Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius (@DefensieMin) to #Leonardo’s headquarters for a discussion on the evolving security landscape and the role of technology and international cooperation in addressing today’s challenges.
The meeting provided an opportunity to share Leonardo’s strategic vision and explore developments across key technological domains, from Space and Cyber to uncrewed systems, advanced electronics and the Leonardo Hypercomputing Continuum, in addition to @MBDAGroup’s product portfolio. The discussion also focused on Air and Missile Defence, as well as on the importance of international programmes and industrial partnerships in strengthening European and NATO capabilities.
With a long-standing history of cooperation in the aerospace and defence sector, including through programmes such as @NHIndustriesSAS’s NH90 and @LockheedMartin’s F-35, the visit reaffirmed the importance of dialogue between governments and industry, and of increasingly close cooperation among European partners to develop interoperable capabilities, strengthen technological resilience and respond effectively to emerging security requirements.

Italian Defence Minister @GuidoCrosetto received our Defence Minister @DilanYesilgoz in Rome today for a cordial meeting focusing on innovation, hybrid and cyber threats, disinformation, European defence and bilateral cooperation.
