It's great to see SLTs engaging with the new guidance for supporting people living with dementia, and using it to think of ways to improve access to SLT for those who need it.
We had our CPD session this morning reflecting on the new RCSLT Dementia Position Paper. Lots of interesting discussions about how we can raise awareness of SLT as a profession within this client group and the impact we can have on dementia patients and their caregivers 💭 @RCSLT

Laura also attended one of the @DementiaUK Summer School sessions last week. Her main takeaway was how ‘everyday interactions like sharing a cuppa can help support person centred discussions, by creating space and time to enhance our understanding of an individuals personhood’ ☕️
