Reinforcing transatlantic security and strategic deterrence.
@NNSAWilliams and Dr. Robert Kadlec, Assistant Secretary of War for Nuclear Deterrence, Chemical, and Biological Defense Policy and Programs engaged in discussions with @DepSecGenNATO Radmila Shekerinska and emphasized the vital role of nuclear deterrence in defending Alliance interests and reaffirmed our commitment to close strategic alignment with our NATO partners.
The next decade will determine who leads in super intelligence, advanced energy, and global innovation.
As I shared at @imagineif_bna, at @NNSANews, we are changing how we do business and instilling a culture of urgency.

Happy Birthday to the United States Navy!
Admiral Scott Pappano and I had the honor of serving in the @USNavy. Today, we have the privilege of serving the greatest organization known to man—a child of the Manhattan Project and the vital power behind our nuclear fleet.
From advanced reactor propulsion via Naval Reactors that powers the submarines and aircraft carriers of the greatest Naval fleet the world has ever known to providing nuclear weapons on patrol in the deep, @NNSANews proudly delivers and secures the sea-based leg of the U.S. nuclear triad—guaranteeing an invulnerable second-strike capability that preserves global peace.
To all who wear the uniform in the U.S. Navy: thank you for your service and for standing the watch. Semper Fortis! 🇺🇸⚓️

Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists murdered innocent men, women, and children in Israel and dragged hostages away from their families.
The horror of October 7 should still fill us with sorrow and anger. We must never forget the lives stolen or the families forever changed.
Today, we honor the victims and stand with all those who carry the pain of that day. America must stand firmly with Israel and against terrorism and antisemitism. There can be no excuse for this evil.
Credible deterrence demands that we move with urgency, and the progress we’re making on W93/Mk7 demonstrates exactly that.
We are revitalizing and modernizing the Nuclear Security Enterprise to design, develop, and produce this critical new weapon with the precision our Warfighters demand.
We will continue working together to deliver this capability to the fleet and ensure our sea-based strategic deterrent remains ready for the future.

As a former submarine officer who did six strategic deterrent patrols aboard USS Georgia (SSBN 729), being underway on the USS Idaho (SSN 799) with @USNavyNNPP Adm. Houston brought back great memories.
It’s incredible to see our next-generation deterrence capabilities in action. Bravo Zulu to the crew keeping the watch.
That’s a wrap on the 70th @iaeaorg General Conference in Vienna!
@NNSAWilliams was proud to join @SecretaryWright and @usunvie to reaffirm American leadership in nuclear security and nonproliferation.
Together with the IAEA and our international partners, NNSA remains dedicated to advancing safe, secure, and peaceful nuclear technology across the globe.

Earlier this month, @NNSAWilliams visited @LosAlamosNatLab alongside Deputy Assistant to the President Dr. @SebGorka, who is advancing President Trump's national security agenda. NNSA is proud to partner with him.
The Trump Administration is focused on American strength and deterrence: holding crucial discussions on cutting-edge Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) to safeguard our critical infrastructure and outpace evolving drone threats.
For decades, our Nuclear Security Enterprise has balanced two imperatives: fielding a credible deterrent while upholding rigorous safety and security standards. Can AI help?
In my latest article, I share how @NNSANews is combining AI supercomputing and additive manufacturing through the Genesis Mission to build Aires Tide - a flight test vehicle that took months rather than years, and at a fraction of historical costs.

The era of primarily emphasizing Stockpile Stewardship is over.
Going forward we will be defined primarily as an organization focused on weapons production.
On this somber day, we remember the innocent lives lost 25 years ago in senseless acts of terrorism.
It was a day when our nation stood together in the face of evil—united by courage, resilience, and an unwavering love of country.
May we never forget the first responders who rushed toward danger, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the heroes who have continued to serve and protect our nation.
God bless America. May we never forget. 🇺🇸
