It was engrossing for long periods, but almost completely absent of quality for the most part. The reaction and ratings as Stevenage lost 1-0 to MK Dons includes a frustrated Alex Revell, who had some very brief and blunt words to say about Charlie Goode.

FT: Stevenage 0 MK Dons 1 - League One
Wet, windy and winless. A dismal day weather-wise saw Boro fall to an equally miserable defeat. The match report from League One.

We're apparently expecting a tempest of epic proportion in the two hours the game is on. Maybe we'll get something Shakespearean on the pitch too. If we do, it'll be in The Boro later. Stevenage v MK Dons in League One to come.
Early team news, at least news of three not involved anyway. Two were obvious but thought Houghton may have been closer to fitness though.

After just over 4 years at @StevenageFC I’ve made the decision to step away from professional football.
Not an easy decision, but sometimes a change is needed. Grateful for the experiences, memories and people I’ve met along the way.
On to the next chapter! ❤️🤍⚽

With 350 @IsthmianLeague, @SouthernLeague1 and cup games under his belt here's a celebration of Paul Halsey's time as manager including a special tribute from Leigh Rose. Well done Paul. warefc.co.uk/paul-halsey-rea…
Something must have gone on there because that decision seems weird. Surely you let him give it a go and if it fails, it fails. At least you start next season with continuity and with plans already in place.

These games are actually the hardest to rate because there are so many that could get man of the match. And 4-4-2 man, I’ll always weep tears of joy for that. Beautiful. Reaction to the 3-0 win for Stevenage v Plymouth Argyle in League One.

Wonderful win to the side playing 4-4-2. Somewhere, Mike Bassett would be smiling. Brilliant from Boro against Plymouth in League One.

GOAL! STEVENAGE 3 Plymouth Argyle 0 - Phoenix Patterson (83')
Super goal. Great dribble by Kemp took him into space and the slipped pass to Patterson was stuck past Cooper.
3-0

71' Kemp should score after going one on one with Cooper. The keeper gets his hand up though and Plymouth are able to clear.
2-0
