Our Lead Statistician, @NPortaStat, is part of the team that has looked at using oxygen-enhanced MRI (OE-MRI) as part of MR-Linac #Radiotherapy treatment for head and neck cancer. OE-MRI looks at the oxygen levels in a tumour to identify areas that are starved of oxygen.
🔬NEWS: Using the #MRLinac, a team of scientists at the ICR, @OfficialUoM, @thechristienhs, @ucl, and @UniversityLeeds have been able to measure oxygen levels in tumours, which could help deliver more #TargetedTreatment ⬇️
