In eastern DR #Congo, persistent insecurity has left some displaced families with no choice but to settle where they have fled. With support from the DRC Humanitarian Fund, we negotiated with landowners to lease plots of land to 800 families to help them become self-sufficient.

For two years, the start of the school year in North Kivu, DR #Congo, was fraught with difficulties. Massive population movements affected infrastructure as well as children’s learning. This year we’re supporting Ushindi Primary School to help them get back on track.
