Unsolicited scandal management advice: At least try to sound more concerned about the substance of the dirty deed than on how it came to light.
WH’s Miller on Fox: The President is the whistleblower here. The president of the United States is the whistleblower. And this individual is a saboteur trying to undermine a democratically elected government.

If you are not familiar with Mr. Wasserman, he is a very respected analyst.
With Dems all but certain to prevail in Mississippi and Alaska, we're most likely looking at a 56D-44R Senate and a ~260D-175R House, which would be Dems' largest House majority since 1992.

Democrats are not the most coherent of parties, but being 93.3% of crossing the filibuster-proof threshold, even theoretically, is really something.

As though the Arkansas Bar Exam scandal wasn’t bad enough already, people are making it worse by suggesting that the Bar official might have been acting at the behest of individuals who failed the exam and are now licensed attorneys. That’s nonsense. It’s my understanding that the Bar official’s motivation was to create a higher pass rate of Arkansas Bar candidates for the purpose of making Arkansas look “better” in an annual national survey of pass/fail rates.
It seems sort of unlikely to me that a bar official was just adding points to random candidates' scores. It will be very interesting to see who these lawyers (?) are. We need (and I think we will get) complete transparency.

This is insane! Here is a map of yesterday’s Indiana House results if they were drawn under the attempted Republican gerrymander map from last Fall. Thank you to @Vulst3 for breaking down the data to make this map. The gerrymander could’ve netted us a 9-0 or 8-1 map potentially!

I will certainly miss Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria as president of the University of Arkansas System. He has done an outstanding job leading the state’s largest higher education system and building a strong foundation for the future. I wish him all the best in his next chapter and the Board success as it begins the search for his successor.
Boilermakers, please join us in welcoming the 14th president of Purdue University, retired Lt. Gen. Jay B. Silveria. The Board of Trustees unanimously selected Silveria to serve as Purdue’s next president beginning Feb. 1. Read about our president-elect: purdue.edu/newsroom/2026/Q4/…

There’s a real irony in Republicans hoping that the late mail votes in Mississippi will rescue Cindy Hyde-Smith — just months after the RNC sued to void Mississippi’s ability to count late-arriving votes and lost at SCOTUS, 5-4.

89% of Democrats and 73% of Republicans say the news media’s “watchdog role” helps keep political leaders in check. Since the early 2000s, partisan views of the watchdog role have often shifted depending on which party controls the presidency. But the latest Republican trend does not follow that pattern neatly. #MediaWatch #PoliticalWatchdog

Today, I accepted the resignation of Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who led the Civil Rights Division with conviction the past 18 months. She has defended the civil liberties of every American and enforced the law without fear or favor. The Department is grateful for her dedicated public service, and we wish her every success in her future endeavors.

I’ve heard reporters say that tonight is the most dramatic midterm election in a couple decades. To me, it’s the most significant party turnaround since 1974. From Texas to South Carolina to Ohio, voters saw life in America today and found it difficult and disappointing. Congratulations to tonight’s successful Democrats. You've been given the right to lead, and it's now up to you to prove that you deserve it. #Midterms2026 🗳️
