NWTC

📻⭐Radio Recap! As we head into March, the guys talk about looking forward to warmer weather, Jim’s upcoming cruise, and Maino’s birthday. An early phone call to Maino’s wife, Julie, helps clarify a story about John going to a Canadian bachelor party in Mexico. It’s quite the story, and you need to hear it! Then Civic Media Meteorologist Brittney Merlot looks at the stormy forecast for the week ahead—hint: rain, snow, and ice! Next, long-time sports broadcaster and now author Mark Daniels joins the show to reminisce about his career covering high school sports. As we head into the height of the basketball season, he recalls some of the top players, teams, and games. Afterwards, we talk about Restaurant Week in the Fox Cities! Kayla Perron from The Forge Restaurant swings by to invite everyone to take advantage of the specials and food tied to this event! It runs through March 9th and includes about 12 area restaurants. The guys are planning to hit them all by the end of the week! The final hour starts off with a young local man who is going to school at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for police science. Chandler Weiss shares his experience of deciding to get into the program and why he chose NWTC. He’s a great young man, and we’re looking forward to following his future. Then, we are joined by Donna McVey from Captain’s Walk Winery in Green Bay. They are part of the Maino & The Mayor’s Top Craft Pick promotion that is going on right now! Not just great wines, but also a great atmosphere to relax, enjoy some live music, trivia, and “SINGO,” and even some wine-making classes!
