He’s right! Senate Democrats cannot allow a bill to build more data centers to move forward. The cloture vote is scheduled for Monday.
To send a message, we’re building a big data center prop and putting it in front of Chuck Schumer’s building starting tomorrow, 9am. Join us! 👇
The first chance to show that the days of Trump's "supplicant Senate" are over is Nov. 9th. Dems can demand a hearing and amendments to improve the deeply flawed BAAJA bill before it moves forward. Or, they can cave to Trump and agree to jam through his 400-page MAGA wish list - the most sweeping environmental/energy bill in decades - without a single hearing. If that happens after last night's Blue Tsunami, the word "supplicant" would be far too kind.

RSVP for the protest here. We’ll be in front of his building to send him a message through the weekend. Then we’re planning to take the data center to his midtown Manhattan office on Monday when the senate cloture vote is scheduled.
Don’t do this, Chuck!

We got your back, New York!

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

Gonna be a huge weekend for everyone looking for special "I voted" stickers in NYC.
Take part in early voting Saturday and get the Halloween sticker. Vote Sunday and get the Marathon sticker.
Which one will you choose?
Palantir, Trump's AI surveillance arm, signed a contract last year with the company that runs the @MTA's tap-and-go system OMNY.
We don't know what rider data is shared with Palantir.
Why is one of ICE's biggest collaborators being allowed free rein on our trains and buses?
Every time you tap your smartphone to ride the MTA, your data is collected by Cubic Corporation — the military contractor partnering with Palantir.
We don't know what they share with Palantir, but we do know we don't want to be surveilled or tracked by an ICE collaborator.
If you don't want your date handed over to Palantir or ICE, add your name to demand that the MTA cut ties & kick Palantir off our trains and buses.

NEW: @NYCMayor taps NAACP New York leader to chair NYC racial equity commission
“This is a great continuation of a conversation to tackle some really calcified problems that didn’t start with Mamdani, and he’s actually trying to make sure some of them end with him.” -- @Dr_CMGreer

Mamdani said just now that Linda Tigani will stay in her role for 1 more yr:
"We have agreed to extend her term to next summer," he says, adding that the admin is working w the City Council & will have Chris Alexander "pick up the mantle" as the next commish after Tigani leaves.
NEW: @NYCMayor seeks to oust head of Commission on Racial Equity, over objections from City Council’s BLAC and some faith leaders, @JeffCMays reports:

Zohran is not trying to "oust" anyone. According to New York City Charter, Chapter 81, Section 3404, her 3 year term started in August 2023 and therefore expired in August 2026.
Christopher Alexander is a fantastic new choice. Worked for the NY State Senate and now the NAACP. – at Brooklyn, NY

Safe, clean subway stations shouldn't be a heavy lift.
Our East New York members are starting to organize to make sure Euclid Av Subway stop gets fixed up!
So appreciative of @CCA_NY for organizing this, 2027 is the year we pass common sense sentencing reform laws like the Earned Time Act, the Second Look Act, and the Marvin Mayfeild Act - let’s go!!
There are over 30,000 individuals incarcerated in NY's prison system. On Friday, I joined my future colleagues and @communities_ny @CCA_NY at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, a maximum-security prison for women. We talked to a number of women who have been sentenced to die behind bars, and witnessed resilience and hope in the face of dire circumstances.
Our current sentencing laws do not take into account the human capacity for change and redemption. That must change.
