"Distant Ruptures does an incredible job of gathering together and showcasing CF’s work through a period of intense experimentation."
Brilliant essay on CF by James Sutcliffe at @ArtReview_

Wow.
Just a reminder that we published @mangaberg's translation of Sugiura's Ninja Sarutobi Sasuke (that's him below) last year.
Amazing to see ALL of our books published in 2024 on the @ComicsJournal contributors' best of year list.
In brief—
Pierre La Police's Master of the Nefarious (trns. by @LukeVBurns)
Aidan Koch's Spiral & Other Stories
Ernie Bushmiller's Nancy & Sluggo's Guide to Life
Dash Shaw's Blurry
Sugiura Shigeru's Ninja Sarutobi Sasuke (trns. Ryan Holmberg)
CF's Distant Ruptures (edited by Sammy Harkham).
Quite a year.

More love for Dash Shaw, this time from brilliant writer (and sometime comic critic) Ed Park.
"Blurry lacks a central character, instead letting the narrative flow from person to person, couple to couple, like a passed baton made up of grace and light."

This review of Nancy and Sluggo's Guide to Life is a bit grouchy but at least ends with—
"Anyway, The NYRB compilation of Denis Kitchen’s earlier thematized volumes are necessary and indispensable."

Dash Shaw's Blurry AND Aidan Koch's Spiral are both on the list of top 10 graphic novels of the year at Washington Post.
Congrats to both the artists! We've had a good year. Thanks @Jacob_Brogan!
"A keystone work in the history of world cartoons."

The Dash Shaw-Oliver Schrauwen tour continues today (Saturday) in Chicago.
4pm at @QuimbysBooks (1854 W North Ave.) hosted by Conor Stechschulte.
Books & posters & zines for sale and to be signed.
Great event with Dash Shaw and Olivier Schrauwen last night at @desertislandbk.
Tonight it's Philadelphia's turn. Shaw & Schrauwen will be at Partners and Sons speaking with Brian Baynes of Bubbles magazine. Event begins at 6pm.
Dash Shaw and Olivier Schrauwen at @desertislandbk tonight at 7pm! We hear it's Schrauwen's birthday, too, an extra reason to come.
We'll bring some cheap beer to celebrate and commiserate (on the other recent "event").
Two great cartoonists at @desertislandbk tomorrow. There'll be great books available; Shaw and Schrauwen will sign theirs; and nice people will be in attendance.
Come out.
Dash Shaw & Olivier Schrauwen will be signing copies of their new books Blurry & Sunday at @desertislandbk this Thursday 7pm. Come by!
