Traditional event pic 📸 One last run for 2026, and I wouldn’t have wanted it to wrap up any other way. 100 strong over two sessions from across New York and into New England & PA. Full row of college coaches - and many STAYED to the finish - says a lot about the level & how everyone approached the day. Union College, where everything EST started in the mid-2010s… great to put a bow on Year 12 here as well ✔️ THANK YOU to all that made the 2026 EST Fall Showcase Series a success!

#TodaysOffice Ithaca I’ve been here more times in 2026 than all of 1991-2025 😂 thank Matt Oswalt & crew for that. A primary home for @TeamNEHoops/@XGenElite/@syracuseroyals activities in recent years, including today, where nearly 100 players came through the doors for one of their three tryout dates. Some standout & breakout showings… pretty clear who’s been working 💭 appreciate the opportunity to stop in & watch today!

It’s been a minute. Finally got to writing 🎉 Marathon Sunday last weekend. - AM at 518 Superior Showcase Then a run up to Vermont: - afternoon at @LWAVT Fall League - evening at @BlueprintBasket TFL league Loved getting a full day in… and it was a productive one. Some players that caught my eye & why… HERE (subscriber stuff) ⬇️ empirestatetakeover.com/2026…

#TodaysOffice Part III Burlington Each stop further away from home. Late night 😅 part of the game. Making the most of Sunday’s drive to Vermont continued with a first visit to the new Burlington HS gym. More of the 802’s finest at @BlueprintBasket fall league. Worth the trip ✔️

#TodaysOffice Part II Champlain Valley Union Because what’s more beautiful than a fall drive deep into Vermont? 🍂 Quality competition + efficiency with longer drives = high priority on my list. Making the most of this weekend’s 802 run. Time well spent watching many of the state’s finest (along with more from Section 7 in NY) at @LWAVT fall league 🎯

#TodaysOffice Part I Mekeel Christian Academy Went off the grid the last few days (much needed). Back at it today & straight to full speed. Three stops in two states planned for a busy Sunday. First order of business: an eye on the backyard at the fall 518 Superior Showcase 👋🏼

Scranton has found success in recent years recruiting NY, particularly with some players from the Syracuse area & the Lower Hudson Valley. Now one of the nation’s premier D3s taps into the Capital District for one of the 518’s finest. Highly skilled PG that truly loves the game and still has her best playing ahead of her. More Sheetz stops & wing bites in my future 😅 518 to The U @AddisonTho46159 ✔️

And now we turn the page to 2028 commitments 🤯 West Point gets a pledge from a lead guard that could be classified as nothing short of Army tough. Special talent & an alpha by nature - one of the best in my extended coverage region. Q off the board @QuinlanBlake22 ✔️

New weekend, same full baseline. Sundays in October at EST events 🏀 Extended weekend, and with 10/15 fast approaching, if things haven’t hit full speed yet, they’re about to for all college programs. Could’ve been easy for coaches to pump the brakes, but great to see many prioritizing the EST Fall Showcase session at Union. And most held it down from start to finish 🫡 Not all pictured as they posted up across the gym, but represented in attendance included Daemen, Castleton, Colby-Sawyer, Cortland, Ithaca, MCLA, Mount Holyoke, Mount St. Mary, Nichols, Oneonta, Plattsburgh, Potsdam, RPI, St. John Fisher, St. Lawrence, Union, Adirondack CC/Prep Girls Hoops, and Fulton-Montgomery CC. Several had multiple on staff there, and more that weren’t in attendance are signed up to receive the game film. People often ask me about ‘exposure’. If you’re in Upstate NY or other parts of the EST coverage region, had the chance to get to an event this year & didn’t, well… 🤷🏻‍♂️ 2026 EST event season in the books. Back at it in Spring 2027 ⏳

#TodaysOffice Hoosac School A must stop in the fall travels, and again in the dead of winter, lies deep in Rensselaer County. One of the NEPSAC’s finest - and defending champ in its most competitive class - looks up to the task again. Afternoon well spent at open gym with a deep, talented Hoosac program 🛠️

30-something degrees outside this morning. @JPalmerFund brackets are released. ‘That time of year’ is fast approaching…

#TodaysOffice Part II Troy Boys & Girls Club August-September-October… now in Month 3 of ‘Separation Quarter’. Who’s putting in time to work on their craft this time of year tends to speak volumes. Watched a couple solid groups do just that tonight at @nyhavoc fall workouts 🛠️

#TodaysOffice Part I Colonie Annual stop at the after school special 📍 take the gym time whenever it’s available to get some work in. For @SCGirls_hoops in the fall, that’s right after the final bell. Good chance to get a preseason look at the perennial Section 2 power ✔️

For the last time in 2026… it’s EVENT WEEK ‼️ Sunday (10/11) at Union (Schenectady). - AM session is full (wait list available). - PM session (12:30-3) has a handful of openings. Players from Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 along with New England & PA have registered. Over two dozen college coaches have confirmed plans to attend. My eyes, focus, and coverage on every part of the event. Finishing strong… only one place to be Sunday 🔥 REGISTER HERE 🔗: empirestatetakeover.com/2026…
