The Wellington Saints announced their first import - Kerwin Roach - and seemingly then accidentally revealed their second as well. Both with solid pedigree.
On a related note - the Sharks must be low on funds because they've signed some seriously middling journeymen. Not usually a franchise you expect to see poking around the German second division. Rams and Saints imports >>> Sharks imports >>>> The dumbfounding Nuggets signing
Tis an interesting debate whether NBL imports should be allowed into New Zealand but a much funnier solution is Grant Robertson looking at film to decide whether a player is good enough to get an exemption
The Breakers get a new part-owner who played college ball at Indiana and now they have a new "assistant coach" who was a student manager/video guy at.... Indiana!
Latest on Breakers, including a surprise addition as an assistant coach...

Interesting news but also claims that Oladipo now owns Spark Arena - lol - and that his business manager anticipates running operations which would also be extremely surprising.

It's baffling that both Yanni Wetzell and Max Darling are going to be in the NBL and the Breakers ended up with Dan Trist.
Oh, Darling! Max is bringing some BIG excitement to #NBL21

Shoutout to Tim McTamney. I didn't think either coach would have the balls to do it but tanking this game is absolutely the right play.

MVP:
1) Tom Vodanovich
2) Derone Raukawa
3) Taylor Britt
4) Marcel Jones
5) Jarrod Kenny
Vodanovich has a huge gap over the field, travesty if he does not win. 47% on almost 10 3PA per game, monster on the glass & his length covers up for the Jets abhorrent defensive backcourt.

Absolutely no reason to sign Dan Trist when there is this version of Tom Vodanovich sitting out there. Body is better, jump shot is legitimately scary, slides better in a stance and still has the rugged toughness that he relied on before becoming so skilled.
Includes an excellent, rare and refreshing look at the Breakers' signings earlier this week.
