This adorable little tyke seems like he’s got the stuff to take my job in a few years. Look at his interest in MP @Gudie Hutchings’ response to his question. Never caught his name, so please pass this on to his family if you know them.
We had a great day with classifier John Peeters , a day we won’t soon forget. Genomics has really shown us how fast we can push our genetic progress in a very short time frame. Along with classification/milk recording , these tools have helped us achieve our goals #scoretheherd
Well a little late this year and still having to avoid snow around the fields edges, but manure is being applied!
You never know what your gonna find when you come to the barn at night to do barn check. This could was our walking around the hallways in the barn
Today was a special day for us here at the farm, with the birth of this calf. She’s the first IVF biopsy embryo calve we have ever had on the farm. It’s great technology and helps our genetics move in the direction we want.

Sometimes I wonder how stuff gets destroyed around here. This old cow has figured out she can whack the side of the robot with her head and it will shake a few more tasty pellets loose.

Today’s a day where there are no teams or sides to choose. Mental health affects us all. Let’s all do our part today, and everyday, to help end the stigma around mental illness #BellLetsTalk teapawt.net/Bell_LetsTalk/status/9…
