China runs a company called JSHP which makes transformers that America has been buying. Around 2019, President Trump confiscated one of them and what they found was shocking. The CCP had the ability to remotely shut down or possibly melt down these high voltage transformers. Trump signed an Executive Order to stop purchasing these transformers from China. Joe Biden reversed that Executive Order on his first day in office. In 2019 when Trump signed the Executive Order there were around 365 of these transformers being used in our grid.
