🇮🇱 The multi-front wars since the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack have imposed substantial fiscal and output costs on Israel—Bank of Israel estimates put direct war-related spending at roughly NIS 350 billion (~$115 billion) through 2026, with cumulative lost output of about NIS 177 billion (equivalent to 8.6% of annual GDP) by the end of 2025, while defense spending has risen from around 5% of GDP pre-war to nearly 8% and public debt has climbed from ~60% to the high 60s–around 70% of GDP, accompanied by credit-rating downgrades, a VAT increase to 18%, and labor disruptions from massive reserve call-ups.
Despite these burdens, the economy has shown notable resilience: GDP grew about 1% in 2024 and 2.9% in 2025, with the Bank of Israel forecasting 5.6% growth in 2026 and 7.5% in 2027 (or 3.4% and 5.1% excluding “production abroad,” mainly Nvidia-related high-tech activity that inflates headline figures without commensurate local employment or investment), stock markets have surged over 100% since the attack, unemployment remains low near 3%, inflation has moderated, and defense exports have hit records, though domestic activity still lags the pre-war trend and the elevated defense burden risks higher deficits and crowding out civilian investment if not carefully managed.

#IndiaIsraelPartnership India, Israel, and the USA have recognized the importance of trilateral cooperation to address global challenges and ensure a secure and peaceful world. The Abraham Accords and the I2U2 grouping have paved the way for enhanced collaboration in areas such as defense, technology, food security, and supply chain resilience.
Thank you @StealthMedical1 @Marni_Harow
India, Israel, and the USA have recognized the importance of trilateral cooperation to address global challenges and ensure a secure and peaceful world. The Abraham Accords and the I2U2 grouping have paved the way for enhanced collaboration in areas such as defense, technology, food security, and supply chain resilience.
The growing partnership between Israel and the USA on defense and global security is indeed fundamental. Israel's advanced defense technologies and the USA's military prowess complement each other, enabling joint efforts to counter emerging threats and maintain regional stability. This cooperation extends to India as well, with Israel being a major defense supplier to India, accounting for 42% of its arms exports.
Ensuring food security is a pressing concern, and the I2U2 has taken significant steps in this direction. The UAE's $2 billion investment in integrated food parks across India, incorporating climate-smart technologies and renewable energy sources, is a commendable initiative. Additionally, India's interest in joining the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM for Climate) further underscores the commitment to sustainable food systems.
By leveraging their collective strengths and shared values, India, Israel, and the USA can contribute significantly to global peace, security, and sustainable development. The success of initiatives like the IMEEC, Abraham Accords, and I2U2 is crucial in shaping a more secure and prosperous future for all.

The “road junction” is fine. Unfortunately two brave Israeli soldiers are dead.
Your headline are disgraceful!
Two Palestinian gunmen attacked a road junction near Hebron on Friday, prompting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to direct Israel’s military to prepare for a “full lockdown” of the West Bank.
The militant group Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. wapo.st/47AMafU

Another Palestinian terrorist attack in Judea and Samaria today, killing 2 Israeli soldiers and injuring 3 more.
Palestinian terrorists continue their lethal attacks on Jews in a doomed effort to remove us from our homeland.
Will the media cover the scourge of Palestinian terrorism the way it has covered the olive harvest? Of course not. It doesn’t fit the narrative.

Received a phone call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We reviewed the sustained momentum in our bilateral ties and reaffirmed our commitment to further strengthening our partnership.
We also exchanged views on recent developments in West Asia and underscored the urgent need to restore peace and stability in the region.

I strongly condemn the severe acts of violence by Israeli rioters in the area of Taybeh.
A police investigation has been opened, and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are already at the scene collecting evidence.
The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the ambassadors of the countries concerned in order to assist the law enforcement authorities, who are working to identify the attackers and bring them to justice.
Without detracting from the severity of the incident, it is unfortunate that the visit was not coordinated with the IDF in advance. Such coordination could have helped safeguard the visitors’ security.

As a former ambassador to the Netherlands, I never imagined I would see the country lose its way so profoundly😢
Bravo to the Mayor of Alkmaar. A handful of Israeli fans were barred from the Hapoel Be'er Sheva match today under the guise of "security risks," yet a mob waving signs (in Hebrew) reading "Go Hamas" was allowed right in.
Hamas is a designated terrorist organization in the Netherlands - the same group responsible for the October 7 atrocities against civilians, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust.
Something is deeply broken in the Netherlands.

She expresses angst trying to discern when standing up for herself or her family might provoke violence, knowing many of the most violent hate crimes today are fueled by antisemitism.

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian corrupt dictator, who has not held elections in over twenty years, has once again deceived the international community.
His attempt to drag Israel into this, falsely claiming that Israel imposed obstacles to holding elections, is yet another ridiculous lie designed to evade responsibility and accountability.
Just like the other lies about “reforms” that were never implemented — ending payments to terrorists and their families, and stoping incitement in the Palestinian education system.
For over twenty years, Abbas has been selling the same thing: lies.

The Palestinian Authority hasn't held presidential elections since 2005 or legislative elections since 2006
Mahmoud Abbas is fooling the international community by canceling once again promised elections. His reform pledges to end “pay-for-slay” terrorist salaries and hate education remain empty too.
They keep deceiving.
Consequences?
Not for the corrupt PA!

Three years have passed since the horror of October 7. But we must all understand that, for the families whose loved ones were murdered by the butchers of Hamas, for those whose lives were torn apart, and for the survivors carrying wounds no eye can see, that morning has never truly ended.
Earlier this year, I stood at Nova. There are places where silence speaks louder than words, and Nova is one of them. Young people from many nations had gathered there to dance, to laugh, to celebrate life, and their lives were stolen by the darkness of hatred and terror.
In Albania, we have one word that contains an entire moral code: Besa. A promise that cannot be broken.
In Europe’s darkest hour, our grandparents kept that promise by sheltering Jews from the Holocaust, risking everything to save people marked for death.
Today, that inheritance demands something of us. It demands that memory never surrender to indifference, that grief never be abandoned to loneliness, that antisemitism never again be allowed to hide behind silence, slogans or excuses, and that we remain faithful to our friends even through their darkest hours.
To every mother, father, child and family mourning today:
May the memory of your loved ones be an eternal blessing🇦🇱🙏🇮🇱

Canadian journalist goes to Israel… and the two-state dream dies on the spot. 🇨🇦🇮🇱
Standing on the border, she points to an Israeli military hospital treating Syrian women — ages 8 to 80 — who were raped by ISIS.
Then she drops the truth bomb:
“I came here believing in the two-state solution.
I really did.
I’m at a point now where I frankly do not.”
“The only way this tiny piece of land stays free… is if Israelis are in control of it.”
Because if you hand any of it to the PLO or Hamas —
it will look exactly like Syria.
Sometimes the most powerful pro-Israel voices aren’t Israeli.
They’re the ones who actually showed up and opened their eyes. 👀🔥

I have lost count of how many random Israelis have come up to us in the last two days telling us how much they love India and how Capt Machchar is a hero!
“Thank you, hero.” 🇮🇱🇮🇳
Days after the dramatic flydubai flight I’ve been reporting on, this appeared today at Israel’s Ad Halom junction: a massive billboard honoring Capt. Smit Machhar.
His photo. A simple message in Hebrew and Hindi:
Thank you, hero.
A fitting tribute to the pilot whose actions helped prevent a far greater disaster.

Three years after October 7, to see millions of Christians around the world publicly raise Israel’s flag is a powerful reminder that friendship can speak louder than hatred. More than 5.2 million Israeli flags, over 4,375 churches, universities and organizations, in
14 countries. WOW
At a time when Israel and the Jewish people have faced extraordinary hatred, millions of Christians are choosing something different: friendship, remembrance and solidarity.
I am deeply grateful to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, to Yael Eckstein, and to every pastor, church and community taking part in this remarkable initiative.
To our Christian friends around the world: thank you for standing with Israel. We see you. We appreciate you. And we will never take your friendship for granted 🇮🇱❤️
