Visiting the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Millions of dollars spent on a new building and fantastic entomology display. Went to the area devoted to plants. Looks like some old dioramas at Knotts Berry Farm…no wonder plant scientists are hard to find…
OK SF Giants fans, Camilo Doval is a cross between Brian Wilson(pitcher not singer) and Luca Brasi(hit man from the Godfather). Up by 1 two on facing Goldschmidt?? Ninqun problema!
Jimmy Dukes and Jay Bilas doing Arkansas vs Alabama NCAA basketball is the best thing I’ve heard since the Manning Boys MNF! Fantastic!
Kevin McCarthy with the Republicans…m.youtube.com/watch?v=GpMjak…
Watching Mike Pence Town hall. I probably don’t agree with Pence on anything and would never vote for him. But, it is great to see a Republican who has principles and is not a grifter. I am looking forward to disagreeing with my Republican friends on policy- not personalities.
OK, I’m old. Found a restaurant that didn’t look to busy, so decided to go in and order. 4 Doordash guys showed up looking for their order…I hate Doordash…
OK Weed Science Twitter just when I think we may be gaining in exposure with our entomological counterparts- Spotted Lanternfly shows up on Saturday Night Live… Palmer Amaranth just isn’t scary enough I guess…
Just watched the first inning of the Dodgers/Padres game. Ya, I know the Giants haven’t really played well since the Allstar break…but, the Dodgers are pretty good…hard to say that…
Sad day for basketball fans. Ironically I heard the news of the great Bill Russell dying on a Sunday morning. I spent so many Sunday mornings watching NBA basketball. Only a couple of years with #6. Was so excited to actually see him in person as coach of the Kings years later.
Isn’t it enough that the games are hard to watch…does the postgame( and pregame)show have to be too..
Finally I see it! Friday night the Giants didn’t want to lose another 1 run game so they let the Cubs score 3. Tonight they wanted to let the Cubs score 3 so they could win a 1 run game…oh the brilliance!
Been watching the Sacramento Kings since the beginning- was in the old arena- one of the 13,333 many nights. Watching the summer league game tonight. I’m looking forward to this season. Is it Keegan Murray? Or Sabonis? Or Fox? No. It’s Hearing new coach Mike Brown.
