Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei says Tehran could reopen the Strait of Hormuz within two days if the US meets its demands, calling the proposal a sign of Iran’s “good-faith approach” to restoring security and resuming negotiations.

My politically-incorrect hot take from the whole Patloo (or whatever his name is) saga is that the much-romanticized much-lionized much-mourned Awaam is in fact, by-and-large, enmasse and engroupe (when it's all said and done) ...Che and Chawal. And enmasse Awaam would...

Patloo and others do not reinvent the wheel. They spin the wheel that already exists. They pander to a baser instinct gallery close to the heart of the awaam. Everyone does it. Politicians, religious leaders, spiritual leaders, pir, aamil. It's only now that YTbers have..

..started tapping into this baser ape-level instinct and made money out of it. - But then again, it is just me. Given what I do, my opinion is objectively-speaking... subjective and not scientific.

"Disgraceful" and "Un-Australian" just some of the words David Warner used to describe Australia's Halloween horror-show in South Africa. Needing 288 to win on the final day, the Aussies completely collapsed.

If any selectors had actually bothered watching the domestic games Babar played in Abbotabad, he would not have been in this side. Sometimes, keeping a player away from the game to find himself is in the player's best interest.

🗣️ “I'm stunned that they've gone down this path." 🗣️ "You cannot hope in Test cricket that you're gonna do well." Australia's selection decisions and the call to bowl first in Cape Town have sparked plenty of debate 👀 #SAvAUS 🏏 | #HenleyHomes

Ex Aussie players are flaying the current batting lineup. Brutal postmortem. There is no patience for mediocrity in this cricket culture.
“That is the most mortifying wicket I have ever seen. Australia hid their number 4 , Green from Simon Harmer from 16th over to 39th over.” - ruthless Gerard Whatley

Pakistan are onto something with Arafat, Saad Baig and Hassan Nawaz 2.0. To think that Babar and his coaches wasted so much time on M Nawaz and Shadab.

During my high school summer break, I dabbled into a friend's project of documenting indigenuous Pakistani musical instruments. At a studio, we stumbled upon a journalist as he held a rubab for his 6-year-old son to play. The kid couldn't hold the gigantic rubab, but boy, could he play it! From a brief conversation, we learned that the gentleman had taken his son to a plethora of music ustads - from far-flung nooks of Balochistan to the desolate villages of GB. I was utterly fascinated. I asked him for the rationale, and his words have stuck with me ever since. He said, "Mein apne betay ka arts se rabt is liye qaim kr rha hoon keh agar arts iski jabilat mein bas gayi to mujhe itminan rhe ga keh yeh kabhi inteha-pasand, dehshat-gard, ya jahil mullah nahi bane ga. I will be leaving the world a more humane place through this human." We would all benefit from his words.
اپنے بچوں کو موسیقی سے محبت کرنا سکھائیں تاکہ ان کے دل نرم اور زبان میٹھی ہو جائے، وہ تعصب اور نفرتوں سے دور رہیں۔❤️
