Nash Flammang

TAPPS Division 1 - District 2 St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School-Austin @SMPREP_FB Head Coach: Phil Rombach @CoachRombach37 📝 2025 Outlook Since Phil Rombach took over in 2023, St. Michael’s has transformed from a rebuilding program into a contender, climbing from 3–7 to 8–3 in just two seasons while adjusting to TAPPS Division I competition. Rombach has instilled toughness, discipline, and belief into the Warriors’ culture. Junior quarterback Nico Anderson @nico_anderson27 returns to lead a balanced offense, while veterans provide stability on defense. The Warriors may not have the depth of the perennial heavyweights, but under Rombach’s steady hand, they’ve proven capable of exceeding expectations and look poised to stay in the district title conversation. 🔥 Things to Like 🔹 Steady quarterback leadership: Anderson returns after throwing for over 2,300 yards and 20 touchdowns last season. His experience and poise give St. Michael’s a true field general capable of keeping the offense efficient and explosive. 🔹 Versatile skill players: The receiving corps is balanced and dangerous, led by Andres Patino @AndresPatino26 and supported by Pierce Kovacs @notpierce2 and Nash Flammang @Nash_f7. Their ability to stretch defenses vertically and work underneath routes ensures Anderson will always have reliable options. 🔹 Defensive anchors: Danny Smith @dannysmith_50 and Joseph Logan provide toughness in the trenches, while Brady Morris @brady_morris27 adds two-way leadership at linebacker and tight end. Add in Jacob Garcia’s coverage ability, and the Warriors have veteran pieces to build around defensively. 👀 Things to Watch 🔹 Developing a consistent run game: With key rushing production gone to graduation, St. Michael’s must identify a reliable back to complement their aerial attack. Junior Rhone Goldberg @rhone_goldberg may be the answer, but sustained balance will be key in a physical district. 🔹 Defensive depth against high-powered offenses: While Smith, Morris provide leadership, the Warriors will rely on Garcia and Kovacs to lead the secondary. 🔹 Sustaining momentum in a tougher district slate: After outperforming expectations in 2024, St. Michael’s won’t catch anyone by surprise this fall. They’ll need to prove their growth wasn’t a one-year surge but a sign of staying power among district contenders. 📱 Player/Coach Accounts on X Andres Patino @AndresPatino26, 2026, WR/CB Brady Morris @brady_morris27, 2027, LB/TE Danny Smith @dannysmith_50, 2026, DE/LS Everett Voss @voss_everett, 2026, QB/TE/DE Larsen de Waal @LarsendeWaal29, 2029, LB/RB Lincoln Skillern @LincolnS29, 2029, RB Nash Flammang @Nash_f7, 2026, WR/TE/DB Nico Anderson @nico_anderson27, 2027, QB Pierce Kovacs @notpierce2, 2026, DB Rhone Goldberg @rhone_goldberg, 2027, DB Adam Foren @CoachForen, Recruiting Coordinator #txhsfb #TAPPSFootball @TXPSMedia @TXPrivateFBGuy
