All READMEs should include a section for the people who set up the environment on the same machine, but years ago and now all their dependencies are out of date and out of whack. Just give me like one or two lines to clear out my old junk please. Thank you :)

Guess we’re getting political… what better place for me to call out the U.S.’s punditocracy than in a word of the day tweet. IMHO way too many pundits going unchecked here. Think for yourselves sheeple!! 🙃 Today’s word: Punditocracy #NatesWordOfTheDay merriam-webster.com/dictiona…

My favorite thing about working in software is that you can always find kind, patient and enthusiastic people willing to help you within the software engineering cadre. Helped people help people. Today’s Word: Cadre #NatesWordOfTheDay merriam-webster.com/dictiona…

In an effort to improve my vocabulary for the next 365 days I’m proffering a new word I learn each day to my followers in the form of a tweet. Hope you all enjoy! Todays word: Proffer #NatesWordOfTheDay merriam-webster.com/dictiona…

It's #CarlSaganDay. In 1985, Sagan testified before Congress on climate change: "Here is a problem which transcends our particular generation. It is an intergenerational problem. If we don't do the right thing now, our children & grandchildren will face serious problems." #COP26

Thread: A slow weekend turned interesting when a student at Columbia, in response to a tweet suggesting the SAT and ACT were "good, actually" posted this chart.

The climate crisis is an accumulative crisis. Our CO2 emissions stay in the atmosphere for up to a thousand years. Being on the list among the biggest historical emitters certainly doesn’t speak to your advantage as “climate leader”.
Animation: The countries with the largest cumulative CO2 emissions since 1750 Ranking as of the start of 2019: 1) US – 397GtCO2 2) CN – 214Gt 3) fmr USSR – 180 4) DE – 90 5) UK – 77 6) JP – 58 7) IN – 51 8) FR – 37 9) CA – 32 10) PL – 27

Hello! If you're feeling generous and would like to do something kind, my badass sister is raising money to help the unsheltered people of Springfield, MO, this winter. Every little bit helps - thanks! gofundme.com/f/cooperative-w…
